I decided to give rusting up some fabric a try. Surprising how quickly those bottle tops piled up once we started saving them. It took me a while to figure out that damp makes more rust than moist and moist makes more rust than wet.
Someone suggested using vinegar for this, but water actually worked better. Go figure.
Wonder which brand of bottle top will end up making the best rust marks? Now, to figure out what to do with it once I undo the bottle tops and dry the fabric.
