The Latch

On Sunday morning, we discovered that someone left the interior light on in the car overnight. The details aren't important, but we weren't going anywhere until the NRMA man came and jumped the battery.

Of course, once the car is going again (and the interior light was turned off), there is nothing to do but let the car run for a while to get some charge back into the battery. Does give one a chance to think about this particular twist to the phrase 'fuel economy'.

So, what to do but take some pictures?

I have never liked the latch on the back gate ... it is almost impossible to open unless both hands are free. And what are the chances of that ever happening? So I decided to capture The Latch for posterity.
