This is the cover of a book challenge I am doing with a group of fellow art quilters. Each person sets their theme and makes the book cover. Then the rest of the quilters, in turn, makes a page to go into the book.My theme is "Touch Me" and this piece is a collage of wool and silk tops, threads and yarns. Everyone I showed this piece to touched and stroked it ... hence the theme of my book.

couching is one of my favorite techniques to employ and it definitely adds the invitation to touch to a piece.
